As Technical Support at Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services, you'll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes. You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. You’ll respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs. You’ll be the go-to person for customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations. As Technical Support, you'll perform problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and resources to ensure that customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives. You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of – and taking action on the problem. Responsibilities Building, migrating, deploying, updating and maintaining complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift, and IBM AIX. Providing support during critical situations and incident management, effectively support troubleshooting. Collaborating across multiple teams and leading technical conversations (with client as well). Qualifications and Skills Must have expertise and experience installing and/or updating Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform, and IBM AIX Experience with Kubernetes; OpenShift experience is essential; 2 years Strong OpenShift background; Kubernetes knowledge is a major plus GitOps experience Automation & scripting; programming / development / scripting (i.e. Java, C++, bash, python, Go, yaml) is a plus Familiarity with RedHat technologies, including Ansible and RH Application runtimes DevOps experience Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions Certifications: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes Certified Administrator (desired) Setup, extension and modification of OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters; management and resolution of incidents on Elastic and Kafka components; capacity and performance management of clusters Problem management and change management in coordination with other teams Management of basic components of the OpenShift / Kubernetes platform and network configuration Monitoring tools setup and support for integration with customer tools; event collection systems and logs for customer use 24x7 support on critical incidents; patch management and updates for platform components Backup procedures, real-time monitoring, user ID management, and cryptographic certificates management What You Can Expect Ideal candidates must have experience in managing complex infrastructures for medium and large customers, with in-depth technical knowledge, team collaboration, troubleshooting aptitude, strong interpersonal skills, and extensive delivery experience. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; attention to detail and a proactive approach.
