Job Description
Responsibilities Execute the strategy for Contracts improvement Support the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer needs through the negotiations, until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting Responsible for meeting Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives Review on regular basis with Program Managers the budget, business plan, economics (REV, GM), financials (collection, costs) and program KPIs Accountable for Programs risk assessments, and for the execution of mitigation activities to address key risks Accountable for the definition of programs governance with Customers Lead Program Managers to meet the Program milestones in terms of timing, costs, and quality Define actions with cross-functional teams to address customer’s concerns and to maximize customer’s satisfaction Overview PMs in Program Control Board preparation Lead the Program Managers in the accuracy of configuration control Responsible for creating a people development plan for own team Motivate and inspires own organization to drive daily activities applying standard work and operating rhythm to focus on the specific priorities while supporting them in their Lean journey Qualifications/Requirements Master\'s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Strong previous experience in NPI program management Highly skilled in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong in developing a network and influence stakeholders Excellent risks management and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and in communicating with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management Prompt communication and sense of urgency Lean Practitioner Ability to document, plan, and execute established projects, and management skills Proven expertise in managing financial metrics Availability to travel as needed to support the Business Fluent written and spoken English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Good aerospace industry knowledge Knowledge of Avio Aero processes What We Offer Smart working and work life-balance Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
