Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. As a talented Nyx Earth DevOps Engineer, we want you to help us fulfil our mission by enabling our engineering teams to build, test and deploy reliable and secure software using state-of-the-art CI/CD techniques. Key Responsibilities Duties In your capacity as a Nyx Earth DevOps Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day, your duties will include: Architect, deploy and maintain environments for SiL and HiL test campaigns, connecting cloud-based CI/CD infrastructure with on-prem hardware. Implement and administer CI/CD pipelines for flight software and GNC. Monitor and optimise the performance of CI/CD and data pipelines. Work with the DevOps team to integrate analytics into CI/CD pipelines and incident management systems. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, scalability and security across all environments. Deploy and maintain cloud resources. What we would love to see from you In the role of a Senior Data Platform Engineer, ideally, you will have the following: 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related role. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for C++. Expertise in programming languages such as C++, C and Python. Experience with containerisation tools like Docker. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, build tools (e.g. Bazel) and message streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka, Redis) is a plus. Readiness to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Knowledge of tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes. Why you should join us!
