Job Description

Join Fortil as a Project Engineer – Aerospace Sector . We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and qualifying hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and HVAC systems for aerospace applications. This role involves managing the full product development lifecycle, from technical proposals to production support, interacting with internal teams, suppliers, and international clients. Key Responsibilities : Design and define the architecture and layout of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and HVAC systems. Coordinate technical development activities across all project phases. Prepare technical specifications and supplier documentation. Select appropriate materials and define dimensional and geometric tolerances. Provide technical support to CAD designers and verify functional, manufacturability, and installability aspects of drawings. Prepare and review technical documentation, including development test procedures and reports. Monitor project KPIs and manage product configuration changes. Participate in technical reviews with clients and suppliers. Define test bench requirements and oversee development/acceptance testing. Required Qualifications : Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the aerospace or automotive sectors. Solid knowledge of aerospace design and qualification standards. Familiarity with fluid dynamics principles and GD&T practices. Proficient in MS Office suite. Working knowledge of CAD tools (preferably AutoCAD and/or CATIA V5). Familiarity with simulation tools such as MSC.Nastran, MSC.Adams, Matlab, Simulink is a plus. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to travel occasionally, including international business trips. Why join us ?
