System Administrator

Overview As a System Administrator , you’ll be part of a team delivering 24x7 remote services, responsible for managing critical systems across the Enterprise. The Enterprise Command Center supports Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services’ major platforms and technologies, including Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware, Databases, Middleware, and Backup. Systems and subsystems require Security & Compliance activities such as OS patching and HC activities. Responsibilities Manage critical systems across the Enterprise on a 24x7 basis as part of remote services Support environments including Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware , and related Databases, Middleware , and Backup Perform Security & Compliance activities (e.g., OS patching, HC activities) and ongoing troubleshooting Qualifications Proven familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple technologies Expertise in patching activities and system updates Good knowledge of the VMware ecosystem Competence in scripting for Linux and Windows environments (managing filesystems, monitoring processes, diagnosing server issues) Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Automation experience, especially in IaaS (infrastructure as code) Vulnerability management Public/private cloud management; migration from on-prem to cloud solutions PowerShell and Bash scripting Shift Timings Two shifts are available — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) can be fully handled from home.
