Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 14 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job id : 60833 Important Notice : Traveler must have their own transportation for this assignment. This is a rural area with no public transportation . Job Responsibilities : Prepare and assist in setting up the operating room for scheduled procedures Verify accurate and complete preparation of supplies, instruments, equipment, and special order implants/instruments pre-operatively Open and dispense sterile items safely and accurately Assess special needs related to patient history, surgical procedure, positioning requirements, and expected length of the procedure Count sponges, sharps, and instruments with the scrub person Ensure accurate charge capture for items utilized in the OR for patient-specific charges Time Off / Holiday Coverage : Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at submission . RTO requests after submission will not be approved Maximum RTO allowed: 5 days (less is preferred) Holiday coverage: Travelers are required to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and Friday/weekend after Requirements : Minimum 2 years of current OR experience Scrub & circulating experience (scrub and circulate skills checklist must be included in traveler profile) Ortho/Neuro experience EPIC EMR experience Traveler must have their own vehicle Minimum 2 years of current OR experience Scrub & circulating experience (scrub and circulate skills checklist must be included in traveler profile) Ortho/Neuro experience EPIC EMR experience Traveler must have their own vehicle Permanent address must be included in profile All RTO requests must be included in profile.
