We’re on the hunt for energetic, reliable, and hard-working team players to join our culinary team at the O2 on match days. As a Kitchen Porter , you’ll help keep the kitchen in top shape so the chefs can fuel the fans and the VIPs alike. These roles will help you develop invaluable experience in our kitchens, supporting out chefs and front of house colleagues to deliver an exceptional level of service, as well as contributing to a great working environment for you and the rest of your team. Before you apply, please double-check that your commute to the O2 is manageable and fits your schedule! The closest tube station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line, just a 5-minute walk from the arena. Please note, there is no parking available on site . Make sure your journey works for you before applying! Example shift times vary from 06:00 - 16:00, 10:00 - 18:00, 12:00 - 22:45, 20:00 - 08:00 (night porter). Wash up like a pro — pots, pans, plates, and everything in between Keep stock and supplies flowing smoothly, like clockwork Team spirit is a must — bring that can-do attitude because we win together! Communicate clearly with the kitchen crew and front-of-house teammates Maintain all service areas spotless, organized, and safe Clean cooking tools and utensils promptly during prep and service times Take out kitchen waste to the right spots and help unload and store deliveries Help set up and clear down your station, making it ready for the next rush Always deliver top-notch hygiene and cleanliness standards Confidently operate cleaning machines as trained, following company guidelines What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is a must Ideally, at least 2 months working in a stadium or events setting Stays calm and focused during busy, fast-paced event days Brings energy, passion, and a strong work ethic to every shift Friendly and enthusiastic, with the ability to follow and give clear instructions Thrives under pressure! Loves the buzz and excitement of an electric atmosphere Reliable, punctual, and always ready to pitch in wherever needed Some experience is a bonus but not essential—we’re happy to train the right person!
