Mechanical CAD Project Coordinator

Job Description Were seeking a motivated Mechanical CAD Project Coordinator to join one of our prestigious engineering clients near Keele! Our client is a UK market leader in their industry, known for supplying, designing, installing, and servicing specialist engineering solutions. This role is ideal for someone with AutoCAD experience and a mechanical engineering background who thrives on variety from producing drawings and quotations to supporting procurement and liaising with clients. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position! What youll be doing Produce precise 2D AutoCAD drawings for engineering projects Compile accurate parts lists to support material procurement Assist with sourcing materials at competitive prices Prepare quotations and meet client deadlines Maintain strong client relationships, providing technical support and solutions Liaise with colleagues, managers, suppliers, and customers at all levels Ensure all products and projects comply with company and industry standards Contribute to the preparation of documentation, O&M manuals, and company procedures Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible) Pay £26,000 - £27,500 per annum (depending on experience) Skills/Experience Required Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Mechanical engineering experience (desirable) Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities Valid UK driving licence Benefits Company pension (after 3 years company fund employee contribution) Private healthcare Critical illness cover Death in service benefit Free on-site parking Day shifts, no weekends Flexible working arrangements Supportive team environment Training provided and opportunities for career progression Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
