HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic: Salary: £38,000 £48,000 per year Hours: Days Monday Friday with every other Saturday morning Location: Oxford C&B Recruitment are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic to join a well-established business in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician, Plant Mechanic, HGV Fitter, or Heavy Vehicle Engineer looking to join a supportive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and plant machinery Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance Prepare vehicles and equipment for MOT/LOLER inspections Ensure high standards of safety and efficiency in the workshop Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / HGV Fitter NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Plant, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous) Able to work independently and as part of a team Benefits £38,000 £48,000 salary (dependent on experience) Weekly pay (every Thursday) 26 days holiday bank holidays Overtime opportunities available Ongoing training and career progression Supportive and friendly team environment Apply now or contact Ian Bowker at C&B Recruitment in confidence to discuss this HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic role in Oxford.
