HGV 2 Driver

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Location: Mallusk Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Working Days: Monday - Friday Start Time: 8:30am (on the road by 9:00am) Finish Time: Approx. 5:00pm (early finishes still paid full day rate) Role Overview: We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers (18 Tonne Curtain Sider) for our client based in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity with a well-established logistics company. Drivers will carry out business-to-business deliveries and warehouse drops across Northern Ireland, with supportive management and a steady daily schedule. Key Responsibilities: Complete multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland (typically 6-7 drops per day, max 14) Operate an 18T curtain-sider vehicle with pallet truck supplied Ensure all deliveries are handled safely and efficiently Offload pallets at delivery points - some sites have forklift support Conduct vehicle checks and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism On Belfast routes, may return to depot for a second run (double drop) Support Dunnes Stores contract as required - may involve breaking pallets into individual commodities Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience Strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland Reliable, professional, and safety-focused Benefits: Full day rate paid even if work finishes early Temp to Perm opportunity with a reputable employer Supportive transport and warehouse teams Monday to Friday working pattern - no weekends
