We are currently seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer Sr – Modular Design , reporting directly to Civil & Structural Section Head to join our Engineering team based in Italy , Rome Operating Center . About the opportunity: You will work within the Civil Section, managing proposals, basic engineering, and detailed engineering design. Key interactions include internal collaboration with project teams, procurement, construction, and other engineering disciplines, as well as external interactions with clients and steel suppliers. The role may include but is not limited to: Design Calculation Detail design for onshore modules, module pre-service calculation for sea and land transport in STAAD and SACS, joint calculation with IDEA STATICA, sea fastening, and grillage design. Support Services for Procurement Technical bid evaluation Preparation of material/purchase requisitions Approval of vendor designs and documents Support for procurement evaluations Interface with other discipline engineers and project support functions Engineering / Project Management Activities Participation in project contract review meetings Discipline contract reviews and document management Preparation of technical specifications Interdepartmental coordination Support to construction for tendering and site activities Participation in design and constructability reviews Quantity and material tracking Coordination with external consultants and fabricators Initially, you will move to Technip Paris Operating Center to gain experience with ongoing EPC project activities, then transition to Rome Operating Center, with opportunities for business trips and site visits. The requirements include: Master's degree in Civil Engineering Fluent in English Problem-solving attitude Experience with design automation tools Knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD Pro, SACS, IDEA STATICA Willingness to be internationally mobile Experience from 2 to 5 years is preferred.
