Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview Join to apply for the Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) role at Hitachi Energy . We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of High Voltage Products at customer sites in Italy and abroad. The candidate will follow Hitachi Energy safety, health and environment standards to deliver on time and on quality, meeting customers’ expectations. Responsibilities Apply safety rules and environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents. Perform installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently; identify technical problems and analyse them through remote or on-site activity in installation and commissioning, site acceptance testing, routine maintenance, oil treatment, etc. Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer order and expectations. Maintain a good relationship with customers. Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities. Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed. Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Demonstrate Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business. Your Background Technical diploma and/or degree. Good knowledge of Italian and English. Experience in a similar role within High Voltage Products is a plus. Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians. Flexibility and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel worldwide (90-100%).
