EXPERT QUANTUM ALGORITHM RESEARCHER (IT) Join to apply for the EXPERT QUANTUM ALGORITHM RESEARCHER (IT) role at Eni Job Description Come Expert Quantum Algorithm Researcher you will be part of Eniquantic . You will be responsible for the development of quantum algorithms for possible use in neutral atom quantum processors designed by Eniquantic. The activities will start from the design of algorithms, their application to industrial problems in the field of optimization or machine learning, and then benchmarking in quantum emulators, also integrated with HPC resources, to be tested on our quantum prototypes. Main Activities Development and testing of quantum algorithms for application use cases for analog and digital quantum computing platforms based on neutral atoms, such as analysis of optimization problems and machine learning on real data and development of their quantum extension Benchmarking of developed algorithms on analog and digital quantum computing emulators in HPC environment Required Characteristics Master's degree in Physics, Computer Engineering, Data Science At least 3 years (including any doctoral degree) of research or work experience in the field of quantum computing algorithm development and/or applications Experience in programming on HPC (preferred requirement) Knowledge of quantum information and computation theory Knowledge of computational complexity of algorithms Knowledge of optimization techniques Knowledge of classical and quantum machine learning techniques Advanced knowledge of programming Advanced knowledge of quantum computing libraries (such as Qiskit, Pennylane, Cirq, etc.) Excellent knowledge of English Availability for travel Completing the Profile Interest in neutral atom QPU Interest in Data Science Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams with autonomy and proactivity Location San Donato Milanese, Rome We promote flexible work forms, offering smart working and flexible hours to support a better balance between professional and personal life.
