In Taranto, Vestas Blades Italia S.R.L. operates one of the most modern blade factories in the world, producing blades for both onshore and offshore wind turbines. To strengthen our capabilities in Quality and Process Engineering, we are looking for a motivated student to join our Quality team at the Vestas Blades Italia production plant in Taranto. The Quality and Process Engineering department is responsible for the entire quality and process of the production lines, and plays a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in reducing reworks and scrap costs. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineers, operations team, and various stakeholders across the factory. Responsibilities Supporting quality and process monitoring activities across production lines Contributing to the optimization of technical processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and cost of poor quality Assisting in problem-solving initiatives and root cause analysis Participating in planning and management tasks, with an emphasis on process improvement and compliance Collaborating with different departments across the Vestas value chain on ad hoc projects You will also have the opportunity to learn about: Blades manufacturing processes and products ISO 9001 quality management systems Structured problem-solving methodologies Cross-functional collaboration in a global industrial environment Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or Electronic preferred). A Master’s Degree will also be valued.
