Within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions, we are looking for a Test Engineer for Food Processing equipment to widen technical knowledge about verification and validation processes, with a focus on food processing equipment. In this role, you will be an individual contributor taking physical tests, executing responsibility on Food Processing Equipment, supporting development teams evaluating designs, participating in planning tests, and analyzing results. You will also execute corrective and preventive maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over Food Processing Equipment used for development tests. In the new role, you will contribute to creating new solutions, implementing them, and seeing the results of your job. Learning new technologies and getting hands-on experience is essential, with a valued work-life balance. This is a permanent position based in Modena, Italy, with up to 30% travel to suppliers and customers' sites. What you will do Conduct tests on food processing equipment to ensure error-free and test specification compliance Be the technical reference for food processing equipment used for development tests, controlling configuration, executing maintenance, and troubleshooting issues Report and present deviations and results We believe you have Technical education in Mechanical Engineering Years of experience providing mechanical projects, installation, commissioning, and servicing on equipment and/or processing lines, preferably in Food applications Developed competences on separator and homogenizer , preferably skilled on pumps and valves Proven experience in mechanics , fluid-dynamics , and sterile systems Good knowledge of liquid food preparation process , electric instrumentation , and troubleshooting and fault findings Skills in automation with a focus on Siemens platform Good computer skills Electrical competence in reading electrical schemes and cabling Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge in reading pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and cabling Knowledge of testing techniques and tools to implement and understand results Experience in troubleshooting complex issues involving several factors in a structured way Fluency in Italian and intermediate English or fluency in English and intermediate Italian As a person, you have: An analytical and practical mind Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships Ability to work in a team and individually in a complex environment Proactive and result-oriented approach with good problem-solving ability Willingness to strengthen technical competence, learn, take initiatives, and support project activities We Offer You A variety of exciting challenges with development and training opportunities in a global landscape A culture pioneering innovation with industry experts driving visible results An equal opportunity employment experience valuing diversity and inclusion Market-competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements Apply Now through our careers page at https://jobs.tetrapak.com/ We value Diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of our work, providing a place to belong and support to thrive, celebrating people for who they are, and the diversity they bring.
