Group Summary The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that drive the future of mobility, including vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems, and advanced lighting technologies. Job Responsibilities Ensure connectivity of production equipment to support smart factory solutions. Develop IoT applications functioning locally and in the cloud. Create KPI, metrics, and monitoring tools for Industry 4.0 production environments. Work with version control tools (e.g., Confluence, GitHub). Explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a broad audience. Required Skills and Qualifications Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in similar roles (preferred). Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Omron). Knowledge of multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, R, Python, C++, Java). Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). Deep understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks. Experience with MQTT protocol. Knowledge of connectivity software (Kepware, Ignition). Knowledge of statistical methods. Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Power BI, AWS Quicksight, Qlikview). Responsibilities/Tasks Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructures. Design IoT applications for local and cloud environments. Develop KPIs, metrics, and monitoring tools for Industry 4.0 production. Collaborate using version control tools. Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Desired Skills Proactive in seeking technical solutions. High attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
