How will you make a difference? You will report to our VP in charge of Freight Components Product Line and focus on project management, on quality and on operations. What do we want to know about you? Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or business. A Master\'s degree is preferred. 10 years of proven experience in quality, operations and project management in railway business ideally in Freight. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good judgment for complex business decisions and strategic planning. Excellent ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international team environment. Ability to get-things-done and challenge the status-quo. Entrepreneurial spirit. Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as required. Fluent English mandatory, other European languages appreciated. What will your typical day look like? Product Line Quality Leader — Lead and train the Project team network of the Product Line; manage and coordinate Customer Quality Visits, Audits and meetings (FAI, Project audit, etc.) with involved PQE’s and Site Quality Manager; lead Product Quality continuous improvement through regular audits and Critical Characteristic Management Process; lead New Product Development Quality Gate; ensure customer issues are managed per Wabtec rules (5W2H, QRQC, 8D or PDCA_FTA, LLC) with appropriate reactivity and communication; lead Product Line QRQC with sites involved; set targets and achieve Product Line quality performance; establish the quality budget for the Product Line. Operations - Industrial and Sourcing Footprint — Transfer of technology / Make or Buy: lead activity from idea generation to business case to actual transfer until successful FAI; coordinate with site and regions quality teams to drive supplier resourcing for overall quality improvement; drive cross-functional project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with quality objectives and delivery timelines; monitor project milestones and proactively manage risks and resources; act as key interface between engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
