Overview Job Title: Sales Director , Italy Location: Milan / Lombardia (Hybrid) - Travel 50-60% domestically visiting customers / team meetings Reporting to: General Manager Employment: Permanent Join to apply for the Sales Director role at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. . We are seeking a Sales Director to oversee our Professional channel in Italy on a permanent basis. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing, driving, and developing the Italian sales operations within the channel, working with core brands such as DEWALT, STANLEY & USAG. Leading and mentoring a team of seven, your goal will be to create and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve the local budget and business objectives. The Job We are currently seeking a Sales Director to oversee our Professional channel in Italy. The role focuses on driving and developing the Italian sales operations within the channel, working with core brands. Location-based responsibilities include leading a team of seven and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet budget and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Sales and Margin Growth: Drive sales and margin growth in the Italian market for the professional channel Sales Strategy Development: Define the company’s sales strategy for the professional channel, maintaining high sales standards and margin levels Business Growth and Profitability: Ensure business growth and meet profit commitments for Italy in alignment with operating plans Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business plans and ‘go-to-market’ strategies to ensure profitable and sustainable growth across the portfolio Team Leadership: Define targets and goals for the sales team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives Performance Management: Set targets, goals, and objectives; allocate resources effectively; and manage, review, and track performance to ensure success Sales Plan Implementation: Develop and execute sales plans, including distribution and channel strategies, as well as key customer acquisitions The Person Proven experience in sales leadership within a product sales environment Experience in a multi-brand commercial environment Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to drive business growth Excellent team leadership and resource management capabilities Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams Languages – Fluent Italian & upper-intermediate English What You Will Get In Return A competitive salary compensation package including company car, bonus and more The flexibility to balance personal commitments Challenge and Opportunity; help to build a function that will forge a world class reputation Opportunity to work with brands used daily in homes and businesses Stanley Black & Decker is an equal opportunity employer.
