Gas Technology Services Supplier Quality Engineer – Field Management & CI Overview Gas Technology Services Supplier Quality Engineer, Field Management & CI, is responsible for acting as the Supplier Quality representative in GTS and Procurement continuous improvement initiatives. The role builds relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery and leads continuous improvement where there are performance issues. Responsibilities Preparing and presenting quality performance metrics to internal leadership and customers (e.g., Escaping defects, cost of poor quality, lessons learned, RCA timeliness). As part of strategic initiatives, revamp the purchase qualification process, suppliers’ performance and surveillance in collaboration with Gas Technology Service organization for service commodities (mainly Field Service and Repair). Carry out supplier audits (mainly QMS). Collaborate with the Supplier Quality team, the Quality GT Service business, and IET Quality organization on specific workstreams. Qualifications Master degree in Engineering or equivalent. Data-driven mindset and ability to apply statistical methods. Experience in problem-solving methodologies and ability to lead programs/projects. Experience in dealing with suppliers. Sound working understanding of field services. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Previous and proven experience conducting audits according to ISO 9001. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence others. Experience participating in cross-functional and global improvement initiatives. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is a value add. Work Arrangements Work in a way that works for you.
