Direct message the job poster from WeHunt Responsibilities Observe and follow all local Health, Safety and Environment laws/regulations and Ahlstrom standards applicable to his/her function. Develop the Quality System at supplier level and on the new line to meet IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 norms. Develop the quality control system (Control Plan, Specifications and Boarder Samples, Test Methods, Process Improvement, Capability Study, Escalation Process, Working instructions and Training, MSA). Understand and evaluate customer needs as well as process capabilities to prevent defect causes and anticipate possible claims. Manage claims from customers and provide technical support through 8D reports and problem-solving tools (such as 5W, Ishikawa analysis, etc.). Visit customers to give technical support to solve issues in case of claims. Support the other processes in case of issue that impact the quality of the product. Support the risk analysis (Product and Process FMEA) and identify new solutions to prevent possible repetitive defects for new products or standard products or during product or process modification. Support external (Customers, Suppliers, Third-party Certification) and internal audit program of Quality System. Coordinate improving actions plan at plant level and periodical follow up in alignment with plant improvement projects (Operational excellence). Work with suppliers to develop and improve the quality system (product/process capability, run&rate and VDA 6.3 audit, MSA, PPAP, support for quality controls methods and technical specification’s definition). Requirements Master\'s degree in technical subjects (M.S. in chemistry, engineering, polymer sciences or paper/textile technology). Experience in the Quality department in manufacturing industry for a minimum of 3 years; within automotive segment (IATF 16949 Standard) is considered a plus. Knowledge of quality procedures, total quality concepts, statistical analysis (6 sigma) and/or process control required. Experience to manage customer and supplier claims for a minimum of 4 years. Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills Very good organizational and leadership skills Fluency in spoken and written English languages is a must; working knowledge in German and French is considered a plus.
