Job Description

For a Pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an ASSOCIATE SCIENTIST The Associate Scientist is expected to support the testing of scientific studies for vaccine technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II, Phase III, technology transfer, and process performance qualification at the intended commercial site. Responsibilities: Participates in the execution of specific development testing under guidance. Works in both GMP and non-GMP settings, executing high-standard testing of clinical material. Works closely under the supervision of senior scientific staff to implement and interpret data from development projects. Utilizes scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions. Functions effectively as a core team member on multiple concurrent projects and may lead small projects and established work processes. Helps solve complex problems through collaboration, offering new perspectives on existing solutions. Prepares and presents scientific data in internal meetings within the Technical R&D area. Communicates effectively with managers and senior scientific staff to ensure project progression. Understands, applies, and actively promotes good behaviors in Good Manufacturing Practice, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance. Technical Skills: Theoretical and practical knowledge of main separative techniques and/or spectroscopy and spectrometry applied to the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with capillary electrophoresis, high-performance liquid chromatography (including reverse phase, ion chromatography, size-exclusion, and associated detectors such as UV, CAD, RI, MALS), NMR, and mass spectrometry. Main Requirements: Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field. Very good spoken and written English, with conversational proficiency. Innovative thinking skills; ability to link different components of a problem or situation related to own work. Languages: English: Excellent comprehension Availability: Full-time J-18808-Ljbffr
