Electrician

Location: Skelmersdale and surrounding areas Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year van& fuel card Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you an experienced and fully qualified Electrician based in or near Salford? Do you hold an ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Testing & Inspection? You could earn £40,000-£45,000 per year, working 40 hours per week with our client! About the Role Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add to their team. They are seeking a competent Electrician with 5 years' post-qualification experience who enjoys working in a variety of environments, undertaking small installation projects and reactive maintenance tasks across Commercial, Industrial & Rail environments. Your day-to-day work may include: Small installation projects and planned/reactive maintenance Fault finding and testing Working with metal containment systems (galv trunking, tray, conduit) Installing SWA & singles cables, Schneider Merlin Three Phase Distribution Boards High-level lighting installation (including use of MEWPs) Completing testing and certification of your own work Maintaining safe working practices What We're Looking For A great work attitude, producing quality workmanship at all times An inquisitive mind with strong fault-finding ability A good sense of humour to fit into the team, but also able to work independently Flexibility and willingness to deliver varied projects daily Essential Qualifications: ECS Gold Card City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 with full Apprenticeship (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2391 Inspection & Testing IPAF / PASMA Full UK Driving Licence Pay & Benefits £40,000 - £45,000 per year (basic, with overtime expected earnings £45k) 40-hour working week (Overtime: time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays/Bank Holidays) 22 days holiday Bank Holidays ( your birthday off = 23 days total) Company van provided for travel to and from work Workplace pension Opportunity to progress into Electrical Supervisor, Design Engineer, or ATEX Installer roles About the Company Our client has been established for over 30 years, delivering high-quality electrical services across the Northwest.
