ADT Operator

Job Title: ADT Operator Report to: Operation Type: Contractor Location: Sedibeng Vereeniging or Sasolburg Sectors: Manufacturing Functions: Engineering, Technical, Production & Manufacturing Qualification Types: Certificates/Certification Skills Required: Grade 12/ Matric or equivalent Valid ADT (Articulated Dump Truck) competency certificate/operating license Valid heavy vehicle/professional driver's license (e.g Code10, Code8 or equivalent)as required 2 - 5 years experience operating ADT's or similar heavy earthmoving machinery in mining, quarry or construction environment Basic mechanical /technical knowledge of heavy (ability to identify faults, hydraulics, engine system Functionally literate and numerate (able to read gauges, maps, logs) Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Mechanical fit as required Clean criminal record Duties and Responsibilities: Operate ADT machinery Transport materials at the power station (e.g coal) Conduct pre and post trip inspection on site Perform basic maintenance Adhere to safety regulations on site including safe loading and dumping procedures Maintain a safe and clean workstation Record and maintain logs for all transported materials Report equipment faults to supervisor and collaborate with foreman
