Job Description
Overview Group Academy Learning Monitoring & Grants Manager role at Generali. The unit designs and delivers key training and development initiatives to enrich the potential of our people and equip them for business and future challenges. Responsibilities Managing financial planning and budgeting for training initiatives, including cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training effectiveness and financial efficiency Coordinating with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and effective execution of training activities Overseeing the management of funded training programs, including grant applications, budget tracking, and compliance with funding body requirements Supporting the preparation of documentation for audits, funding applications, and grant reporting Analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in training delivery and financing Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders and funding bodies Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of policies and procedures related to training governance and financing Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines with a strong financial or administrative focus 6 years of professional experience in budget monitoring (in HR or learning area preferred), grants management, training administration, or financial reporting, preferably within large or international organizations Solid understanding of financial planning, cost control, and funded training programs Experience in preparing documentation for audits, funding applications, and compliance reporting Strong proficiency in working with data, KPIs, and reporting tools to support decision-making and ensure transparency Experience in People Management Fluent English and Italian Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing budgets, data, and documentation Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines reliably Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Structured and methodical approach to work, with a focus on consistency and quality Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed Company Profile Generali Group Head Office is the guiding unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
