Data Engineer

Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join an Automotive client of ours at their R&D site in Foggia. This exciting opportunity will involve joining a Global Data Engineering team and helping to build pipelines to support data processing and modeling tasks. Location and Language The role requires Italian language skills, and candidates to be Italy-based , ideally Foggia and surrounding areas, as travel is required due to hybrid working conditions. Responsibilities Develop data engineering software tools that access data from different data sources and perform data preprocessing and harmonization so that data is ready for post processing (modeling and complex calculations) Build ETL pipelines to ensure smooth transfer of data Help with designing software architecture – help to build graphical interfaces Query using SQL on the database Desirable Requirements / Qualifications Strong background in Data Engineering Experience with Python Strong background in programming Background with SQL databases is important Experience with ETL is a plus Contract & Location Details The role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement and is a 3 month contract that will extend long-term.
