Spare Parts Application Engineer

Overview Spare Parts Application Engineer at Baker Hughes. You will join the Spares & Asset lifecycle Team (SALT) within the IET Gas Service Risk & Operational Excellence group and be responsible for delivering Spare Part Lists (SPIR) for transactional and contractual customers. Responsibilities Partner with teams to ensure contract obligations in terms of project timelines and customer requirements (VDR documentation, customer’s proprietary format). Support technical discussions on spare parts with customers and EPCs, addressing customers' technical concerns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product guidance and define technical solutions to fulfill customer needs. Participate in SALT initiatives to improve Service-BOM (asset) data quality and readiness; support process/tools improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Partner with the Service Engineering team to identify and develop innovative technical solutions on spare parts. Qualifications Engineering degree from an accredited university with proven experience in the oil and gas/energy industry. Excellent technical knowledge of Baker Hughes products with a focus on operations & maintenance activities. Strong knowledge of Service-BOM (asset) creation/update and SPIR emission, both as process and tool. Results-oriented with sound communication and influencing skills.
