Job Description

Qualification Matric with Pure Maths A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Requirements At least Ten (10) years' experience with at least five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a large-scale ERP implementation, preferably with SYSPRO In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and business processes in a manufacturing or distribution environment Strong experience managing third-party vendors and complex, cross-functional projects Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels; A strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and data governance principles PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus. Duties Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define, articulate, and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for the SYSPRO implementation Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the project, representing the needs of all key stakeholders and business units Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, and strategic goals Project & Vendor Management: Lead the collaboration and management of external third-party vendors and implementation partners, applying strong project management discipline to ensure the project stays on track, within scope, and on budget Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and review sessions with internal teams and external vendors Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, and report on project progress to senior leadership Business & Systems Analysis: Conduct in-depth business analysis and systems analysis to understand current processes, identify gaps, and define requirements for the new ERP system Translate business needs into detailed user stories and functional specifications for the development and implementation teams Ensure all system design decisions are aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility System Integration & Migration Manage the end-to-end migration process from JDE and other legacy systems to SYSPRO Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of all disparate systems (e.g., HR, CRM, manufacturing software) into the new ERP; Define and oversee the data migration strategy, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transition; Stakeholder Communication & Change Management: Act as a central hub for communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors Develop and implement a change management plan to ensure smooth user adoption and minimize disruption to business operations Provide regular, transparent updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization; Attend to audit queries as and when required; and Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.
