Job Description
Minimum Requirements: BSc Chemistry, BSc Food Science, BTech Food Technology (wine focus), or BSc Oenology & Viticulture 23 years experience in a similar role Experience with BRCGS/FSSC 22000 or relevant FSM systems Laboratory and people management experience Strong chemistry knowledge (wine industry advantageous) Own transport | Available to start ASAP Key Responsibilities: Oversee wine analysis, lab management, and method accuracy Ensure compliance with BRCGS/FSSC standards, audits, and GMP Manage bottling line quality checks and hygiene procedures Coordinate label approvals (SAWIS, Fairtrade, EcoCert, BeVeg) Support health & safety committee and training initiatives Assist with external audits and certifications Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and organisational skills Attention to detail & problem-solving mindset Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Good interpersonal and communication skills
