Job Purpose Implement, promote and encourage, for the competence area/line, a continuous improvement environment in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in terms of production performance, Quality, Safety and Environment/Energy, involving all the functions related to the production processes and stimulating the engagement of line personnel. Key Accountabilities Efficiency and Continuous Improvement: As change agent, intercept opportunities for improvement by analyzing reporting systems and field evidence, activating and managing a specific team to define improvement solutions. Based on ongoing projects, provide input to the planner and shift leaders for special production requests. Participate in budget definition for Capex, KPIs, Quality, Safety and Environment, highlighting needs or saving opportunities to ensure financial coverage for the following year. Analyze results for the competence line/area, manage recurring issues regarding efficiency, quality and safety, coordinating the technical area for long-term resolution and, if needed, revising procedures and verifying effectiveness. Collaborate with Technical Area, Safety and Quality to define new layouts/installations of new machines and tools, involving shift leaders and line operators for a thorough assessment. Produce and share reports (test reports, start-ups, project status, meeting minutes). Suggest benchmarking activities related to projects and processes with other Barilla sites or external companies. Compliance to Quality and Safety Standards: In collaboration with shift leaders ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental standards, supporting external audits. Perform root cause analysis for complaints/non-complaints and accidents/non-accidents with Quality, HSEE and shift leaders, defining preventive and/or corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Report to the appropriate contact in case of an emergency. Technology: In collaboration with the plant Technologist monitor process standards (KPIs, recipes, cooking diagrams) and tools on the lines, and define adjustments to ensure product standard compliance. Ensure resources during technological tests to support pilot phases. Operating Environment: Local scope (Plant). Manage relationships across blue-collar staff, plant leadership, and headquarter functions, developing non-hierarchical collaboration with multiple stakeholders in the plant.
