TAS-JV Procurement Risk & Performance Manager A Joint Venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), Thales Alenia Space is a global space manufacturer delivering high-tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures. He/She reports to a SPM Team Leader and will manage a portfolio of suppliers and projects, including: 5 to 15 suppliers max 1 to a few projects 1 to 3 suppliers when carrying SPM Leader role Missions and responsibilities include: Anticipation and Continuous Improvement: put in place Thales best practices, including lean manufacturing, with suppliers Deployment of corrective and preventive action plans to address process, product, or component alerts Act as a conduit to improve the overall interface between Thales and the Supplier Develop and execute plans to eliminate non-value add activities and improve the quality and reliability of procured items Deploy techniques such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, or Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and evaluate potential failures The role also involves establishing high-level communication with supplier's leadership team, identifying transformation targets, and supporting associated roadmap deployment. In case of a local supply chain crisis, the role leads the Task Force with their network. Responsibilities include organizing and conducting suppliers' performance reviews, validating and issuing SKPIs, and establishing a monthly reporting for the portfolio. The role also requires transmitting SKPIs to the group level and monitoring and reporting on the global performance action plan. At Thales Alenia Space, we provide careers and not only jobs.
