Millwright (FMCG)

Qualification and Experience: Qualified Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright Minimum of 5 year's relevant experience in a FMCG/Manufacturing environment Forklift driver's license advantageous Computer literacy Experience in ARC, TIG and MIG welding advantageous Own transport Role and responsibilities: Maintain plant equipment Perform plant maintenance during the shutdown period Understand and interpret new drawings and manuals Install new machines and equipment as and when instructed Responding to emergency machine breakdowns throughout the plant Do regular inspections of plant equipment Give feedback to Maintenance Supervisors on breakdown root cause analyses Attend to all relevant breakdowns during standby period Apply for parts by making use of the requisition procedure Operate the Leathe and Milling machine to manufacture parts and spares Machine calibrations and setups Automation improvements and installation of electrical equipment Maintenance and improvements on electrical control systems Health and Safety
