Job Description: Reporting to the Toolroom Team Leader, the Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, maintaining, and modifying tools, jigs, and dies to meet customer and company quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair, maintain, and modify tools, jigs, and dies as per requirements Utilize toolmaking techniques and knowledge of manufacturing processes Proficiency in Tic and Arc welding of tool steel and cast iron Conduct consistent inspection and quality checks Job Requirements: Grade 12 and NQF Level 5 qualification Qualified Tool and Jig maker Minimum 4 years experience in automotive toolmaking Experience in tool, jig, and die repair Skills Required: Communication Decision making Problem solving Ability to read tool parts and drawings
