Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Manage all front office operations to ensure smooth functioning and excellent guest service. Supervise front desk staff, providing leadership, training, and motivation. Oversee check-in/check-out processes to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction. Ensure guest enquiries, requests, and complaints are handled professionally and promptly. Monitor and manage reservations, room allocations, and billing processes. Maintain operational standards in line with company policies and procedures. Manage the front office budget, cash handling, and daily financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reports, records, and documentation. Maintain operational efficiency through effective rostering and shift planning. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of staff training programs. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum of two years managerial experience in a hospitality environment. Strong knowledge and experience with PSM/OPERA property management systems . Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays. Computer literacy (MS Office and hotel PMS systems). Matric (Grade 12) required; hospitality qualification or diploma preferred. Proven supervisory or management experience within hospitality. PSM/OPERA certification or proven practical experience is essential.
