Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Location: Wrexham Salary: £48,000 Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off - Days only (with on-call duty on Day 1 and Day 2 evenings) Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Role A proactive and electrically biased Maintenance Engineer is required to join a well-established engineering team at a fully automated, SCADA-controlled production site operating 24/7. You'll work as part of a team of 3 engineers per shift, ensuring plant and equipment run reliably and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of plant and machinery Support optimal machine performance and reduce downtime Perform routine site walkarounds for general facility checks (leaks, alarms, switches) Mechanical work including replacing beater bars, bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, and ensuring proper alignment Assist in commissioning new production lines Ideal Candidate Profile Electrically biased with strong mechanical competence Electrical Qualification PLC fault-finding experience Comfortable working at height and in physically demanding conditions Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
