Job Title: Speech Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Speech Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday, Days Hours per Shift: 32 hours guaranteed Experience: New Graduates are welcome; SNF experience preferred License: State License required Certifications: License verification required Must-Have: - Candidate must have completed the prescreen and attached it upon submission. - Resume and license verification must also be attached. - Covid test must be done 72 hours prior to the start date, with results issued 48 hours prior to the start date. - Three references are required. - Background checks will include county criminal, federal criminal, multi-state criminal search, nationwide sex offender search, HHS/OIG search, GSA search, and social security number trace. - Two-step PPD or Quantiferon or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray required. Description: The Speech Therapist will engage in rehabilitation therapy for patients with speech and language disorders. The therapist will develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. They will conduct assessments to determine appropriate interventions. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to provide comprehensive care. Documentation of patient progress and modifications to treatment plans are required. Flexibility in adapting therapy techniques based on patient response is important. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role. The position requires adherence to all safety protocols, including infection control measures.
