Production Team Leader

Job Description Job Description SRS Fiberglass Products is seeking a Production Team Leader Electrician who has the knowledge and experience necessary to lead a shift, complete the assigned work and to keep the overall shift operating at its best. Essential responsibilities include: · Plans and schedules for daily staffing needs to improve labor efficiency and ensure production needs are met · Builds and fosters strong working relationships, collaboration within their team and a positive work environment · Reinforces company and plant policies fairly and consistently · Supervises the daily shift operations to ensure production standards and quality parameters are met · Achieves targeted production volumes · Ensures work is accomplished in a safe manner and the workplace is free of safety hazards · Provides employees with training, equipment, and tools to be able to safely perform their jobs · Leads and demonstrates safe practices · Participate in safety investigations and corrective actions · Leads and executes the department’s quality systems to achieve quality goals · Monitors team operations and make recommendations for labor and manufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements · Be humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, innovative, results-oriented, and resilient, led by example Full-Time – Off Shift(s) Pay - DOE Benefits: Health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, 401K Will only accept applications that have a proven work history and experience in manufacturing supervision/lead positions. At the time, MMA was extensively involved in the office furniture business. The business was acquired by a large publicly traded corporation and run for several years until it was shut down a few years ago. The same original owners from Michigan Molded Acoustics decided to get back together and get back into the molding businesses hence the start of SRS Fiberglass in 2011, located in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. Today SRS Fiberglass is still run and managed by the same owners.
