Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Strong experience with Stimming required Scrub, Monitor, Circulate, EKG skills required Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy experience required Impella insertion, Rotablader, Left/Right heart catheterization experience required Arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements experience required Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion experience required Conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluation experience required Insertion/programming of AICDs experience required LAA closure, pacemaker insertion experience required Tilt Table Study, Afib ablations (RF and Cryo) experience required Cerner EMR preferred COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious) Description: The Cath Lab Tech position involves working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a daily caseload of 7 to 20 cases. The role requires participation in on-call shifts as needed. Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is not required. Weekends are not required in this position. Special skills required include accurate monitoring and expertise in stent placement and thrombectomy. Experience with various procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, is essential. Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems is preferred. The position provides care primarily for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census is expected to range from 7 to 20 patients. There are 3 procedure rooms available for use. This is an opportunity to work with interdisciplinary support in a dynamic clinical setting.
