Travel Interventional Radiology - $2,751 per week in Tampa, FL

Job Title: IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year, vascular experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT certifications required Must-Have: - COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if for medical or religious reasons) - Experience in various interventional radiology procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, and others - Familiarity with PACS preferred Description: This position is for an IR Tech. Daily caseload per technician is between 20 and 30 procedures. Weekend work is required. On-call duty is required, approximately 8-10 days per month, including one Saturday per month. There is a 30-minute response time required to arrive at the facility for on-call duties. On-call sleep rooms are available. Candidates must possess skills in conducting vascular procedures including stroke interventions, neurointerventions, and pain management procedures. Intermediate experience with contrast, biopsies, and various imaging modalities is essential. Candidates should also possess proficiency in stent placement, DVT interventions, and trauma care. An understanding of Cerner EMR is preferred. The work environment includes four procedure rooms. Three rooms are equipped with biplane technology, with a mix of Siemens and GE imaging equipment. We treat a wide variety of cases, including oncology procedures and pain management. The position involves working with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates must have the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Floating may occur within the facility as needed. The facility is a short-term acute care center with a total of 615 staffed beds. This healthcare setting offers a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on patient care.
