As a Mechanical Assembler you will: Assemble mechanical parts and systems using hand/power tools and fixtures. Read and follow technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and bills of materials. Perform quality checks and troubleshoot assembly issues. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet specifications. Keep accurate records of production and assembly activities. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace using 6S principles. Support line setup and preparation for product assembly. Use and understand technical terminology related to the assembly process. Help train team members in production skills like soldering and welding. Maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Step in to lead the production cell when the Cell Lead is unavailable. Operate automated adhesive equipment for precise application. Set up and run laser welding machines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills: High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or trade school certification a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferred in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense/medical device environment. Able to read and understand detailed engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Proficient with measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Experienced with pneumatic/hydraulic systems, precision alignment, and torque procedures. Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using computers for tasks like ERP systems and digital instructions. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 6S practices is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
