Automation Systems Technician

We are hiring for a role responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and automated control systems. This role ensures production equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Responsibilities First contact for system issues and fault reporting. Coordinate with the helpdesk of the supplier for problem resolution. Perform mechanical and electrical interventions, including small part replacements. Manage communication between Operations and the Region automation Base Supervisor. Train new operators on the system. Report faults and KPIs. Support the plant maintenance team and perform minor repairs. Hard Skills Proven experience in automation systems and mechanical maintenance. Experience with systems like Exotec SkyPod, Knapp OSR Shuttles, and end-line automation (e.g., I-pack packers, shipping label applicators, automatic conveyors) is a plus. Ability to read electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of English and teamwork skills. Technical diploma or degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related fields. Soft Skills Ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions quickly.
