Job Description Job Description Café Manager (with Barista Experience) Company: Carpe Diem Café Carpe Diem Café is a warm and welcoming spot where our team takes pride in serving great coffee and creating memorable experiences for every guest. We’re looking for a Café Manager with barista experience to lead our team, handle daily operations, and help us grow our business. What You’ll Do: Oversee day-to-day operations of the café to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment Train, schedule, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service Handle inventory management and place daily/weekly orders with suppliers Work closely with ownership to develop and implement strategies for business growth Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and work with accountants to ensure timely reporting Lead by example on the floor — prepare coffee drinks and provide barista support as needed Monitor quality standards and create a positive, motivated team culture What We’re Looking For: Previous barista experience is required; management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to handle scheduling, ordering, and inventory with attention to detail Bookkeeping experience and comfort working with accountants A positive, hands-on approach and passion for coffee and hospitality Excellent communication skills and a “people-first” mindset
