Duties -Assist healthcare professionals in performing clinical tasks including taking vital signs, administering medications, and conducting patient intake. -Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards. -Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care in various settings such as internal medicine. -Perform basic life support as needed. -Conduct intake assessments including reviewing medical history and current medications with patients. -Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical-surgical practices to enhance patient care delivery. Skills: -Proficient in medical administrative support with experience in clinic operations. -Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management. -Knowledgeable in vital signs assessment, medication administration, and basic life support techniques. -Ability to communicate effectively with patients to provide excellent service and support throughout their healthcare journey. -Understanding of medical terminology relevant to various specialties including emergency medicine and geriatrics.
