Our firm specializes in removal proceedings and cases involving USCIS, DOS, and DOL, leveraging extensive immigration law expertise and strong litigation skills. What is a Konare Law Paralegal? As a Paralegal at Konare Law, youll work closely with attorneys to support clients through their immigration journey. Youll manage casework, keep clients informed, and help prepare legal filings and trial materials. Every step of the way, youll play a vital role in helping clients feel supported and represented. Responsibilities Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines; documenting actions and client communication; inputting information into file database and confirming case status with attorney. Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress. Helps their assigned attorney with trial preparation. Answering phones and emails promptly. Maintains client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential. Attends all assigned client meetings both in person and telephonically. Tracks the status of client filings. Prepares and composes motions and routine correspondence while acting as a liaison to court personnel. Prepare and draft filings to relevant federal and state agencies. Complete indexes, pleadings, exhibits, checklists, motions, legal research for litigation proceedings. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication. Active listening. Critical thinking. Strict adherence to legal confidentiality requirements. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients. Qualifications Candidate should be motivated self-starter, who is able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and their legal team. Candidate must have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving clients. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills. Candidate should have the willingness to cross-train for other job functions. Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree with two years of legal experience or associate degree with three years of legal experience Certification: Paralegal Certificate (Preferred) Experience: Two years of immigration experience and two years of customer service experience.
