CLass 2 Tipper Driver

Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tipper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including those equipped for excavation tasks. Previous tipper experience an advantage. You must have had your licence for 6 months and have Class 2 driving experience. Early starts - 50 hour week. Overtime may be available. Monday to Friday. Duties Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance on vehicles as needed Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid HGV licence A solid understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation Tipper experience preferred.
