Hi, I'm Jérémy, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, a firm specialized in temporary and permanent recruitment for engineering, industrial and manufacturing roles.Experts in your industry, we are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and every step of your career.Job DescriptionYour roleI am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a civil engineering and heavy equipment management company near Drummondville, for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Permanent, full-time position - Competitive salary based on experience and training.Reporting to the shop supervisor, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a constantly evolving fleet of heavy machinery: wheel loaders of all sizes, off-road trucks, excavators, cranes, aerial lifts, drills, and more.You will work in a safe, structured, and well-equipped environment, within a team of experienced professionals who value collaboration and shared decision-making.Main responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various types of heavy equipment.Conduct safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.Work closely with the team to ensure maximum equipment availability and performance.Keep your workstation clean and comply with safety standards and internal procedures.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.Candidate ProfileYour professional skillsStrong background in off-road heavy vehicle mechanics.Detail-oriented, autonomous, and reliable.Solid understanding of industrial safety standards.Your backgroundDEP (or equivalent) in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field.Relevant experience with heavy-duty equipment servicing and repair.PEP certification is an asset.Eagerness to join a stable and experienced team and grow with the company.
