Platform Integrations Engineer

We are building an innovative business in the Information Security Compliance space and are looking for a Platform Integrations Engineer to help us scale our platform by connecting it with best-in-class tools. You will be responsible for designing and developing reusable integrations, ensuring efficient, secure, and high-performance connectivity for our users. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, reusable integrations using Node.js, GraphQL (Hasura), and Temporal. Build and maintain generic, configurable connectors with third-party platforms, applying OAuth, API tokens, and other authentication flows. Translate product requirements into elegant and modular backend components. Own the architecture and lifecycle of integrations, from conception to maintenance. Write clean, well-documented code with automated tests. Contribute to internal tooling and infrastructure to accelerate the development of new connectors. Ensure reliability, performance, and security across all integration touchpoints. Comply with the company’s Information Security and Privacy standards. Required Qualifications English, both written and spoken. Solid experience building backend integrations, APIs, or platform connectors at scale. Proficiency in Node.js and GraphQL. Experience with OAuth, API keys, webhooks, and rate-limited APIs. Familiarity with workflow engines such as Temporal, or similar concepts (queues, state machines). Knowledge of best practices for modular, scalable, and maintainable code in integration-heavy environments. Experience working with monorepos and shared libraries. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams. Experience in early-stage startups or high-growth environments Nice To Have Skills Experience with NX monorepo, Nhost, AWS, Vitest, Playwright. Knowledge of React (light usage, mostly for internal tooling). Interest in security and compliance in integrations.
