We are seeking a Cloud & Application Security Engineer to join our growing Information Security team. This role will report directly to the Senior Cloud & Application Security Engineer and will play a critical role in ensuring that our cloud environments and applications meet the highest security standards. Our Information Security team focuses on enabling engineering teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure applications. This position will require strong collaboration across technology teams and will have a direct impact on the security of our systems and services used by active customers worldwide. Responsibilities Establish and maintain a Security Champions network across engineering teams. Partner with developers to build secure CI/CD pipelines and ensure applications and cloud environments meet security requirements. Coordinate and track vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and remediation across applications and cloud infrastructure. Build, support, and tune security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, dependency scanning, etc.) used by engineering teams. Provide expert consulting and guidance on cloud/application security reviews, threat modeling, and remediation. Lead and deliver security-focused projects within defined timelines. Drive security-by-design practices into the SDLC, ensuring security is a core component of software delivery. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines. Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging security technologies to strengthen defenses. Required Qualifications Fluent or Advanced English; Strong background in Development, DevOps, or Engineering, ideally with a similar technology stack. Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure preferred). Ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Hands-on experience with secure software development practices (threat modeling, secure design, secure coding, code analysis, security testing, automation). Ability to code/script solutions to improve automation and security workflows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Industry certifications such as GCLD, GCPN, GPCS, GCSA, GWEB, CCSP, CISSP, CISM are highly valued. Candidates with OSCP certification will be strongly considered.
