This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times per week or 8 days per month) or Porto Alegre (3 times per week or 12 days per month). The Opportunity As an Engineering Lead at TELUS Digital, you’ll be a manager of a highly skilled engineering team building amazing digital products for our clients, and you’ll help them achieve their personal and professional goals. You’ll also drive the team and our clients to use cutting-edge techniques and processes for software delivery, and use your technical prowess to shape the solutions we create. Qualifications Have professional engineering experience — at least 5 years building digital products, and at least 2 years leading a team; Have professional engineering experience with Mobile app development technologies (Android, IOS or React Native) and/or Web development technologies (React, Next, Angular, Vue; Node, .NET, Java); Have managed a team of software engineers building digital products, and been responsible for growing the people on the team through goal-setting, coaching and feedback; Have familiarity with CI/CD, Agile techniques for managing work, pairing, mobbing, and shift-left testing; Have owned the delivery of a complete digital product, with code that is durable, secure, scalable and thoroughly tested; Can simplify and communicate about complex problems around technology, business processes, user experience and development tasks; Fluent English and Portuguese skills – including written, verbal, and presentation; This role is open to our São Paulo or Porto Alegre office.
