Job Description
Safety&Security Specialist-LATAM Key Responsibilities: 1. Implement corporate safety policies and procedures in compliance with local laws. 2. Proficient in security operations, including access control, surveillance system, supplier management, safety training and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 3. Develop and maintain fire safety regulations aligned with Local laws. 4. Conduct periodic risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate hazards. 5. Develop and regularly update crisis management frameworks and emergency response plans. 6. Develop and deliver safety training program to promote safety awareness among employees. 7. Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. 8. Manage security suppliers through compliance monitoring, performance evaluations, and satisfaction benchmarking. 9. Develop work plans based on the requirements of the business. 10. Provide expert assistance for office safety within the area. 11. Stay up-to-date with changing laws, regulations, and standards Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher, with 3 years of experience as a safety manager. 2. Excellence in communication and teamwork. 3. Execution based on results-driving. 4. A quick thinker with high accountability, positive outlook and capacity for learning. 5. A wide viewpoint of settling critical disputes in complicated situations. 6. Excellent Reporting skills (written/verbal) and business-level English proficiency. 7. Proficient in office software. 8. Basic knowledge of civil and criminal law principles. 9. Willingness to frequent business travel. 10. Preference given to candidates with experience in multinational corporations, large enterprises, or internet firms. Highlights: 1. Keeta - Incident and Risk Management Expert Incident Response & Field Investigation 1. Manage critical safety and security incidents across assigned regions. 2. Document events with accuracy and coordinate responses across legal, operations, and leadership teams. 3. Act as an escalation point for complex or high-severity cases. Field Operations & Analysis 1. Monitor local safety risks and trends in mobility, public security, and infrastructure. 2. Provide actionable guidance to local operations on incident prevention, courier safety, and area-specific threats. 3. Government and Public Agency Liaison 4. Build and maintain effective working relationships with public safety agencies, traffic authorities, criminal investigation units, and labor unions. 5. Facilitate communications with external entities to resolve incidents or enable business continuity. Support for Business Execution 1. Assist regional teams in executing safe logistics operations, especially during high-risk deployments or local activations. 2. Provide safety planning support for new projects or regional expansions. Safety Culture and Internal Education 1. Promote a culture of safety and accountability across teams and field staff. 2. Coordinate internal safety campaigns, training sessions, and procedural briefings. Data Review and Prevention Strategy 1. Analyze incident patterns and propose data-driven prevention strategies. 2. Create and maintain risk dashboards and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal safety protocols. Field Inspections and Compliance 1. Conduct scheduled and ad hoc site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols. 2. Identify areas for improvement and report findings to senior leadership. Requirements: 1. Prior experience in field operations, incident management, law enforcement, corporate security, or related risk areas. 2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially under pressure. 3. Experience dealing with public institutions and emergency services. 4. Solid understanding of Brazilian regulatory and safety frameworks. 5. Willingness to work in rotational shifts or on-call as part of a 24/7 operational coverage. 6. Demonstrated ability to adapt to high-stress environments and rapidly changing situations. 7.
