Planner (Construction) 24 months contract Somerset West Minimum Requirements Educational & Professional Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Planning/Scheduling, Construction Management . Registration with SACQSP or an equivalent professional body (preferred). Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (advantageous). Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in infrastructure projects , ideally across multiple sites. Proven expertise in developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules and budgets . Technical & Software Proficiency Proficient in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project ). Strong knowledge of critical path analysis and scheduling methodologies. Experience with cost management tools (e.g., SAP ). Familiarity with contract administration and construction law. Skilled in planning and scheduling tools, techniques, and reporting. Industry & Project Knowledge Solid understanding of construction and manufacturing industry practices, standards, and regulations. Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes and financial reporting. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance. Experience with general contracting, design-build, and commercial fit-out/retail project models. Core Competencies Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and analyze performance trends.
